In On My Own, teacher-led classroom activities are coupled with active full-body experiences. Perfect pacing for a two year-old! Music and dramatic play provide opportunities for youngsters to learn about contrasting rhythms and beats in an environment that sparks their imagination. During gym times teachers help children to trust themselves as they try out new activities. On warm days twos visit our rooftop playground to share energetic outdoor play.

Discovery teachers encourage children to listen to each other and respect the diverse interests, backgrounds and abilities of their classmates. Social development is central to the creation of a warm, nurturing environment. *OMO is appropriate for children turning two by Sept 1.

On My Own Plus This Friday option extends children's On My Own experience through an optional third school day. Here, youngsters engage in new projects, cooking activities and science fun.

Graduates of our Early Childhood Programs have gained admission to some of the most selective on-going and nursery schools in the City including Bank Street, Ethical Culture, Hollingworth, Hunter Elementary, Morningside Montessori School, Purple Circle, The Weekday School, and West Side Montessori School
