almost on my own Accompanied by a parent or caregiver, toddlers share lively group experiences that set the stage for later independent play. Their twice a week, hour and a half experience provides a mix of classroom time and active, full body play. Children explore varied art and building projects, learn new songs, listen to stories, and play with their classmates. They love to bounce, climb and play in our large, fully-padded gym or turn into kitties and fire trucks as the music turns our spacious auditorium into a fantasy playground. Children who turn 19 months by Sept 1st are eligible for the Fall 2013 semester. ALMOST ON MY OWN* has reliable routines and rhythms making it easy for children to master their experience as they grow increasingly confident and independent. Graduates of our Early Childhood Programs have gained admission to some of the most selective on-going and nursery schools in the City including Bank Street, Ethical Culture, Hollingworth, Hunter Elementary, Morningside Montessori School, Purple Circle, The Weekday School, and West Side Montessori School "Discovery made the entry into learning for nervous parents and little children exciting, safe, nurturing and fun!"
