Tonio Perez- Gym Program Director
Juan Antonio grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There he trained under Shogo
Hitomi a member of the 1970 Japanese National Team. From 1979 to 1984 he
served as a member of the Puerto Rican Gymnastics National Team.
He later went on to compete in numerous other international competitions
including the Pan American games and the Central American Games. He now
uses his training and numerous competitive experiences to coach others.
Tonio has consulted, directed and taught throughout the United States and
Puerto Rico but he is most excited to join the Discovery Programs Team.
