Sarah Hutchinson

Dance Teacher

Sarah Hutchinson grew up in Washington State where she trained in ballet and contemporary at Central Washington Dance Academy for 12 years. She graduated summa cum laude from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, emphasis in Modern. While at UVU she performed on Contemporary Dance Ensemble and Synergy Dance Company. Along with performing Sarah also was on the faculty at Utah Dance Academy teaching creative movement, ballet, and contemporary.

As an educator Sarah is invested in creating a supportive and encouraging environment that prioritizes student growth and development. She sees each student as an individual and intends to allow everyone’s voice to be heard and everyone to feel as though they are part of a community. Sarah believes that everyone is capable of more than they think, and they just need someone encouraging them to help them reach great achievements. She is dedicated to being that support to her students and seeing growth in them.
