Pre-Ballet Classes (ages 2, 3, 4/5)
– pink, short sleeve, scoop neck leotard – pink tights
– pink ballet slippers
Ballet Classes (ages 7-9)
– Black, short sleeve scoop-neck leotard – pink tights
– pink ballets slippers
Ballet Classes (ages 4/6, 5/6)
– powder blue, short sleeve, scoop-neck leotard – pink tights
– pink ballet slippers
Get Up and Dance Classes (ages 2)
– street clothes – no shoes
No skirts or tutus are allowed.
Tutus and skirts are permitted in class only on the final day. On these days, boys may wear a costume from home or borrow one.
All boys
White T-shirt, black tights or sweatpants, black ballet slippers.
Hair
If hair is long, it should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun. If hair short it needs to be pinned away from the face as well. No jewelry except for small stud earrings.
Shoes
Shoes will need elastic straps sewn across insteps. Ballets slippers should fit like gloves, snug but in no way cramping toes or restricting movement. Be sure they are wide enough. After your child’s teacher checks them for fit, sew in elastics and put your child’s name in both shoes. Please cut the ballet strings no longer than 2 inches and tie them and/or tuck them in the shoes.
