Discovery Programs congratulates their USAIGC Gymnastics Team on a great competitive season! This year, we had 25 gymnasts participate in the team program and all gymnasts placed on individual events during the season. A large number of gymnasts also received individual medals at States Competition back in April.
At the end of June, four gymnasts, Mia Patino, Lily Gerstein, Elena Michaud and Sadie Nipon travelled to USAIGC Worlds Competition in California with Coach Edgar Zambrano. This is the first time that Discovery has gone to a post season meet and we were very excited. All four gymnasts placed individually on events. Sadie Nipon was 2nd place all around level Copper 2 for 11 year olds and Ellie Michaud was 3rd place all around level Copper 1 for 13 year olds.
Discovery is proud of our whole USAIGC Team and congratulates the coaches, Edgar Zambrano and Yeifri Ramirez for their hard work, dedication, and expertise over the past season!
